Municipal water is treated with chlorine to make it safe to drink, which is the right call — but in a hot shower that same treated water behaves differently, and almost nobody filters for it. We started VESL to fix that.

A SPA Pod™ lasts about 90 days. If we shipped the replacement at day 90 it would land a week or so later, and you would spend that week showering through a filter that is already spent. Shipping at day 45 puts the next one on your shelf well before you need it, and it keeps every shipment after that ahead of the one you are using rather than behind it.

Nothing is charged for the filter plan until day 45. Whatever you paid at checkout is all you pay until then.

No. Ours is cUPC listed, certified at 1.8 GPM, DOE CCMS certified and registered with the California Energy Commission. Those are third-party listings, not our own testing.

The head is a solid piece of hardware and it’s the same one we ship on every plan. What’s different about VESL isn’t that we cut corners on the showerhead. It’s that we put the engineering and the margin into the SPA Pod™, because the filter is the part doing the work.

Almost certainly. VESL threads onto a standard ½″ U.S. shower arm, which is what the overwhelming majority of American showers use. Installation takes under two minutes by hand — no tools, no plumber. Thread tape is in the box, and the only step people miss is wrapping the arm threads before you screw the head on.

No. VESL is certified at 1.8 GPM, the same cap California requires of any showerhead sold here, and it was designed around keeping the spray feel strong with the cartridge inline rather than bolted on. Pressure is the thing our customers mention unprompted most often.

Three ingredient groups in a single chamber, so the water meets all of them at once: a copper-zinc blend, calcium sulfite that targets the chlorine municipal treatment leaves behind, and a mineral complex of alkaline ball, maifan stone and ceramic.

About 90 days of normal household use. Your first replacement arrives on day 45, so you have a fresh Pod on the shelf before you need it. After that, one every 3 months. A filtered showerhead with a spent filter is just a showerhead, so the schedule is the product working as intended.

Third-party laboratory verification is in progress. When it’s complete we’ll publish the results with the lab’s name and methodology. Until then we don’t claim removal percentages we can’t show you the data behind.

You have 30 days, risk-free. Send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, including the $1 shipping, with no restocking fee and no return-shipping math — and that ends the filter plan too, with nothing owed.

After the 30-day window the term is a commitment. You keep the showerhead, and the remaining $29 filter payments on your term are still owed. You can stop future shipments whenever you like, and we’ll tell you the exact remaining balance in writing before anything is charged.
